SOMA is a brand concept conceived for a class project on creative postcards. We selected two words out of a hat ("Unknown" and "Flavor") and were tasked with creating 5 postcards incorporating these words.
The nature of the brief allowed us the creative freedom to interpret the words however we chose, so we created a beverage brand.
SOMA beverages encapsulate particular sensations and experiences that are universal to the human experience. With flavors like Butterflies in Your Stomach, Liquid Limbs, First Love, Leaving Home and Cheeks Flushing, each drink is formulated to elicit specific feelings that remind you of personal experiences.
The brand has a contemporary design with a fun and youthful energy with bright colors and an eye-catching liquid-like type for the logo.
The prototype uses a glass bottle to be environmentally friendly and stand out from the competition.
