Class: Typography and Graphic Design at ElisavaDesigner: Marina Kiesling Experimental Typography Congress
A poster design for an imagined international Typography Congress focusing on experimental type at the CCCB in Barcelona. The brief was to create your own experimental typography for the name of the event - TYPE.
After experimenting with several techniques I decided to do something physical rather than digital. I used acrylic and fake grass to form my letters.
The second task was to adapt the poster for a canvas tote bag. I created the design by converting the image to high contrast, black and white and recoloring it green to maintain the relationship between the designs.
